It was easy to set up - I went out on the upstairs deck for setup and am using the large external antenna that came with it. I bought this TV to replace an old analog TV/Radio in my bathroom - I watch the news while getting ready for work in the morning (no cable hookup in the bathroom). All in all this is perfect for my needs. I get more channels with this TV than I got with my old one. I live in an urban area so was confident that I could get over the air signals. This TV works great for me.
When I got it, I was very happy with it, the picture, color and sound is all good. Best of all, since it is digital it gets more channels than the analog. I was worried about going from analog to digital tv as my emergency televisions are all b/w analog. Being I live in southern Florida, this will come in very handy indeed. I highly recommend it. I did my research and found that buying a battery operated converter was approximately $80.00 for a $25.00 b/w analog television. I researched the digital portables and found the Axion to be the best of the bunch.
I live in Florida and need it for hurricanes when the power goes out, I just wish there was a good amplifyed antenna you could get for those of us who live in fringe areas. This is an okay TV for the money, does not get as many channels as I would like however it does get me the weather and that is why I bought it in the first place.
What a ripoff. It works great but I am not happy because I am now finding this same TV for $50 elsewhere, $75 LESS than Amazon.
I was quite surprise, this little TV has a great picture, great stereo sound, I get all the network stations at home, but can't get certain ones at work because of the area I am located in, and I brought it for my work place, but it is worth the money.
